Merrymount will celebrate its 6th Annual International Night on Thursday, April 25th from 6:30-8pm in the Merrymount Gym. This popular event is a celebration of diversity that brings together the Merrymount community to learn about and share with each other the many cultures represented in our school. Families & faculty host tables to share information about their country and culture, do cultural performances or host a cultural activity. Past years have showcased 25+ countries by 30 families!
Students and families not presenting are able to “travel the world”, take part in a global scavenger hunt and other fun activities, sample amazing food, watch performances, participate in cultural crafts and customs and most importantly talk and learn about new places and make new friends along the way.
If you would like to volunteer to host a table, perform or help with event planning, please sign-up through sign-up genius by clicking here or by returning the form sent home from school.2019_International_Night_Volunteer_Flyer_v2_4.2.19pdf
