Dream Come True &
Give Kids the World
Hello friends and family,
As many of you know, Angelo and I were at Disney with Antonio and Mateo last week. We had an absolutely fabulous time!!!! This was our first family vacation since Mateo was born almost 9 years ago. It was only through Mateo's Wish that we were able to go. The foundation that provided Mateo's wish is called "Dream Come True Fund" and they are run out of the Weymouth Elks here on the South Shore. With out there endless generosity and affiliations, our trip would not have been possible or as smooth and stress free as it was.
Dream Come True provided us with not only plane tickets, and allowed us to bring our PCA Angela to help us, but they sent us to the most amazing place to stay; the Give Kids The World Village. Give Kids The World is an amazing and loving place for families of children with special needs. And there were many wish children there with their families. It is totally handicap accessible. There are no stairs anywhere! Mateo could go to all parts of the village. It was an experience that has forever changed us. Being able to stay in such a clean, comfortable, stress free atmosphere enabled us to take on Disney full throttle. Both boys had an awesome time!!!! And so did we.
So now Mateo has another wish, to help Dream Come True and Give Kids The World Village, give other families the gift of a family vacation as wonderful as ours. So if any of you are considering making a charitable donation this year, please consider either of these worthy causes.
