Dear Merrymount School Families,
We hope your school year is off to a great start! The PTO Board wanted to welcome you to another exciting school year at Merrymount School.
As a parent of a student at Merrymount School, you are a member of the PTO. There are no sign ups, fees or paperwork… you are automatically part of this great and ambitious group. We invite you and encourage you to get involved with the PTO activities and events and attend our monthly PTO meetings at the school.
We have a contact list of the PTO Board and School Council members and their important roles. You probably know a few of us… and we hope that you will reach out to us with any questions or ideas you may have. We are proud of the group that we have recruited to be on the PTO Board, each member with a unique ability, perspective and enthusiasm that blend together well to make an exceptional team.
There are so many ways you can contribute to the PTO. Please contact one of our Board Members and learn about the events, activities and meetings we have slated for this year. We also have a TENTATIVE schedule of events listed on our Calendar Page of this website (please note that meetings and activities are always subject to change). These activities and events prove to be fun-filled experiences that supply so many memories for our children. We hope you will attend, help plan or volunteer at as many of these events as possible.
We thank all of the parents who have been so supportive of the PTO’s efforts in the past and hope that your enthusiasm and participation in these events will continue. We have such an impressive school in our backyard and are fortunate to have Mrs. Pegg and her talented and supportive team of teachers and staff at our school. We look forward to working with you, Mrs. Pegg, her teachers and staff this year to continue to make Merrymount School second-to-none.

Mission Statement
To promote a cooperative and supportive relationship between parents and educators that contributes to the educational, cultural, and social development of each student and enhances a learning centric environment. We will pursue the following objectives to accomplish our mission:
Support the creative and innovative programs that enhance the curriculum; Actively encourage community involvement with our school; sponsor fund raising activities to benefit the educational cultural, and social development of the students and to provide additional resources for the teachers and staff.
